The Overnight LVN/LPN is a critical member of our treatment team, responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents in our residential treatment program. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Therapeutic Groups: Lead and participate in therapeutic groups to promote healing, growth, and recovery among residents.
- Provide Clear and Complete Client Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document client information, progress, and concerns to ensure seamless communication among team members.
- Availability for Consultation: Be available for consultation after hours and respond to telephone calls and pages within a ten-minute time frame to ensure timely support for residents and team members.
- Medication Administration: Administer medication as prescribed by the physician to ensure residents receive necessary treatment.
- Narcotic Counting and Logging: Count narcotics daily and log appropriately to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Medical Assessments: Perform primary first aid and determine the need for physician notification to ensure residents receive prompt medical attention.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Consult with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions and resident care.
- Daily Assessments and Medication Administration: Meet with each client, complete a daily assessment, and administer all prescription medication to ensure residents receive necessary treatment.
