Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Linen Associate to join our team at HandCraft Services. As a Linen Associate, you will be responsible for distributing clean linen and collecting soiled linen within the hospital. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Linen Inventory Management: Order and maintain accurate inventory within the linen room and corresponding hospital(s).
  • Linen Delivery and Collection: Verify accuracy of linen orders prior to delivery, deliver linen orders to departments within the hospital, and collect soiled linens from departments within the hospital.
  • Customer Service: Assist Customer Service Representatives with urgent requests for linen delivery within the hospital.
  • Linen Room Maintenance: Ensure linen rooms are clean and well organized at all times.
  • Communication: Keep supervisor and/or Customer Service Representative aware of service problems or concerns within the hospital.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk long distances and push/pull linen carts that can weigh up to 450 pounds.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a hospital or linen distribution setting preferred.
