Physical Therapist

Healing Partners is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist. As a Physical Therapist with Healing Partners, you will have the opportunity to work with our skilled nursing facility team to deliver high-quality wound care services to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Direct and evaluate resident health care in long-term care settings.
- Treat chronic and acute episodic wound-related illnesses.
- Collaborate with internal and external wound care teams.
- Work with the medical director in the care and treatment of residents and staff.
- Application and management of topical wound care and associated wound management products.
- Direction and recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes.
- Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current wound management practices.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist.
- Degree conferred upon successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy professional education program with a (B.S., MPT, MSPT, DPT).
- Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in wound healing procedures.
- Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
- Cognizant of safety standards in a clinical environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must demonstrate professional interpersonal communication and conduct.
- Ability to accurately complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Must have organizational, and time management skills, and the ability to problem-solve.
- Must be an effective communicator with patients and client staff.
- May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
- Will travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within your local area.
- The position requires COVID-19 vaccination.
