Position Overview:
Soliant is looking for a dedicated and proficient Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a school setting. The SLP will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language challenges, thereby enhancing their communication capabilities and supporting their academic achievements.
Key Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Create and execute personalized therapy strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions aimed at improving articulation, language proficiency, and overall communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve students' communication objectives.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Offer advice to families on methods to foster communication development at home.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in California.
- Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to engage effectively with students, families, and educational personnel.
