Job Description:

The Client Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and patients while maintaining a smooth and efficient flow through the animal hospital. This involves greeting clients, determining their needs, and completing check-in and check-out processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to adapt to individual client and patient needs. They will also be knowledgeable about veterinary medical products and services, and be able to communicate this effectively to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations:
    • Greet clients and determine their needs
    • Complete check-in and check-out processes
    • Manage client flow and monitor waiting times
  • Client Communication:
    • Answer and triage phone calls
    • Use AllyDVM software and Softros LAN Messenger for communication
    • Communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Schedule clients for prompt treatment
    • Manage vaccination, recheck, and surgery schedules
    • Process prescriptions and handle outside pharmacy requests
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and patients
    • Be adaptable to individual client and patient needs
    • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior client service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
