Position Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is actively seeking a traveling CT Technologist for an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for operating CT machinery to generate detailed images of patients' anatomical structures, which are crucial for diagnosing various medical conditions.

Key Duties
  • Position patients accurately for CT imaging, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective equipment.
  • Adjust equipment settings and monitor both the machinery and the patient throughout the imaging process.
  • Assist radiologists during imaging procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast as needed.
  • Evaluate the quality of CT images and ensure proper sequencing and labeling.
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks related to imaging.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, focusing on patient care and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
  • Licensure may be necessary depending on state regulations.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
