About the Role

Credit Acceptance Corporation is a leading provider of used car finance solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Data-Driven Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Loan Servicing Analytics team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test new initiatives with post-implementation monitoring to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation to execution.
  • Participate in the development and testing of Loan Servicing (Collections) processes, including new features, policies, and data in core servicing systems.
  • Design, maintain, and execute test plans to validate the proper implementation of user requirements.
  • Develop programming to extract data from the Data Warehouse as part of testing validations.
  • Create best practices regarding test strategy, test library, and defect management.
  • Recognize upstream and downstream impacts, and communicate effectively (verbally and in writing).
  • Develop and produce reports measuring process control measures for loan servicing system features.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Basic working knowledge of SQL, SAS, or other computer languages.
  • 3+ years of professional experience programming with SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other applicable programming languages.
  • Experience leading projects that include UAT testing and monitoring of core collections system functionality.
  • Knowledge in at least one area, such as loan servicing functions, dealership ratings, monitoring collection scores, or credit risk management.
  • Experience running and creating reports in an analytical tool or in a business intelligence setting.
  • Experience mentoring or providing guidance to less senior team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects with broad requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge in at least one area, such as loan servicing functions, dealership ratings, monitoring collection scores, or credit risk management.
  • 3+ years of experience in call center analytics or financial services analytics.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Experience running and creating reports in an analytical tool or in a business intelligence setting.
