The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. As a skilled professional, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing your expertise to assess and address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.
- EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.
