Registered Nurse RN Centralized Monitoring Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Centralized Monitoring Unit at Lancaster General Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague, you will be responsible for monitoring and addressing telemetry orders, identifying sepsis alerts, and implementing sepsis bundles to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and address telemetry orders and need for continued monitoring
- Identify sepsis alerts and implement sepsis bundles
- Partner with monitor techs and units to provide a safe patient experience
- Support all cardiac needs as it applies to individualized care plans
- Assume responsibility and accountability as defined by the American Nurses Association standards of nursing practice
- Provide leadership to other members of the team by effectively communicating expected standards of care
- Assign, delegate, and supervise other employees and intervene as appropriate to assure that the plan of care is carried out
- RN licensure issued by the PA Board of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher level nursing degree
- Completion of the Nurse Residency Program or more than 15 months of practice
- CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- As outlined in unit based Plan for Provision of Care
