About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Streamline Dental Solutions. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patients, ensuring that the health history is updated for all returning patients.
  • Periodontal Exams: Perform full mouth perio charting and periodontal exams as indicated, removing deposits, plaque, and stains from teeth by scaling and root planing.
  • Preventative Care: Select and use appropriate preventative and restorative treatments such as fluoride and scaling and root planing therapy, assisting in the prevention and control of dental caries (decay) and gum disease.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients regarding the importance of oral hygiene, instructing and demonstrating effective oral hygiene methods.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, and HR policies and practices.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist license following applicable state licensure requirements.
