Position: Board-Certified Internal Medicine PhysicianCompany: Summit Health Inc
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform thorough physical examinations and administer vaccinations.
- Identify and manage both acute and chronic health conditions.
- Provide educational resources and counseling to patients.
- Prescribe medications or delegate tasks to support personnel.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and consultations.
- Prioritize patient care and refer to specialists when necessary.
- Oversee advanced practice providers.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain all required medical licenses and certifications.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in case management within the healthcare team.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Valid medical license in the relevant state
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Patient-centered care philosophy
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
