Job Title: Critical Intervention Specialist

CBEM is seeking a highly skilled Critical Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Critical Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing support to individuals in crisis, developing stabilization plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized stabilization plans to address immediate and long-term needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, BCBA's, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in hotline rotations to address acute crisis calls.
  • Participate in clinical trainings and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related field.
  • Experience in the human services field, preferably with the developmental disability population.
  • California driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to crisis situations.
