Estimated Salary:

$68,000 - $90,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide clinically competent care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
  • Treatment Planning: Perform ongoing patient data collection and analysis, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Education: Provide education to patients and families on basic learning needs.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness.
  • Emergency Response: Initiate emergency response measures and serve as a resource for the healthcare team.
  • Laboratory Procedures: Ensure correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Current RN license required; Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in hemodialysis nursing; experience working with diverse patient populations a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
