Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication between pet owners and our veterinary team.

• Greet and welcome each visitor, assessing their needs and providing personalized attention
• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, determining the urgency and responding promptly
• Perform client check-ins and check-outs, reviewing invoices and ensuring accuracy
• Communicate visit expectations to clients, assist owners with pet management to minimize unsafe situations and client stress
• Process and document financial transactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality and security
• Schedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements, and clinic needs
• Manage emergency situations and walk-ins, remaining calm and composed under pressure
• Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions, or client questions in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness in the lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areas
• Recommend products available to clients through our facilities

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year of client service experience in a veterinary setting required
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve
• Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
• Team player, have patience and maintain a positive attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
