Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Transportation/Roadway Department in Parsippany, NJ. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong desire to work in a team environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth and exposure to various disciplines required for advancing transportation-related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare roadway/highway design and plan development from conceptual design to final contract plans.
  • Support in the preparation of technical reports and studies, including Concept Development and Final Design Reports.
  • Lead project field visits to perform condition assessments and inventory of substandard/critical design elements.
  • Prepare quantity calculations, cost estimates, specification support, and utility coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidiscipline design engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in roadway/civil engineering.
  • Experience with Microstation InRoads.
  • EIT Certification is desired.
  • NJ PE License a plus.
