Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objective and expectations.
  • General Maintenance Overview: Adhere to the assigned maintenance program to ensure the most economical, proper and safe condition of the property.
  • On-call/After Hours Response: Serve as on-call maintenance providing evening, weekends and vacation emergency services, as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Maintenance Manual.
  • Unit Turnover: Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon move-in.
  • General Maintenance Equipment and Systems: Repair and maintain any equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage in a secure location.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Working Conditions: The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, often in a variety of weather conditions. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
