Position Overview

The Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Radiology Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology unit, where you will perform a variety of procedures with a focus on high-quality imaging.

Certification Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARRT, BLS, and a valid WI license are mandatory.
Job Details
  • Location: Aspirus Wausau
  • Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours
  • Team Structure: Work alongside 1 RN and 2 Radiologic Technologists, averaging 4-6 procedures per day.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Preferred Skills: Proficiency in performing high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography, cone beam CT exams, and complex procedures including interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases.
  • Charting System: Familiarity with Epic is required.
Work Schedule
  • Shift: 8-hour shifts, typically from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility.
  • On-Call Requirements: On-call duty once a week and every fourth weekend.
  • Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Call only every fourth weekend.
Additional Information
  • Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
  • Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other locations within the central region as needed.
  • Uniform: Any colored scrubs are acceptable.
  • Meals: Food and beverage are not provided.
