The successful candidate will possess a robust background in aluminum casting, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a meticulous attention to detail. This position is vital for ensuring the effective and high-quality production of our cast components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate the operations of the wax, treeing, shell molding, and pouring divisions.
  • Ensure that production timelines are adhered to while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Oversee and uphold the quality of wax patterns, tree assemblies, shell molds, and pouring operations.
  • Formulate and execute standard operating procedures and best practices for all preliminary processes.
  • Educate, mentor, and lead a team of skilled personnel, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Identify and resolve production challenges swiftly to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to guarantee that product specifications and quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Maintain precise production documentation and reporting.
  • Manage inventory for materials utilized in the preliminary processes.
  • Continuously explore avenues for process enhancement and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity within a foundry or casting manufacturing setting.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
