Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Dialysis RN to join our team. As a Dialysis RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in our hemodialysis unit, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • At least one year of acute care experience, preferably in a hemodialysis or intensive care unit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand and walk for extended periods
