Central Market is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team in the meat department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for handling high-quality ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Unload and transport products from trucks to storage areas
• Ensure quality control of all products before sending them to the sales floor
• Maintain sanitation and organization in the department
• Read and execute daily production lists
• Provide customer service, including answering questions and taking orders
• Assist in monitoring product quality and shrink
• Order and receive products and supplies
• Maintain transfer records
• Prepare, wrap, price, sell, and stock products continuously
• Demonstrate expertise about food and provide coaching to other team members

• Demonstrate expertise about food
• Experience with commercial production preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Ability to coach other team members
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
