Job Summary:We are seeking dedicated and skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialists to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. This role includes rotating weekly shifts, providing a balance of work and time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision.
  • Assist with imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and patient records.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiology and healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Completion of 18-24 months from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registration or eligibility for certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Ultrasound.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or willingness to obtain certification through Colquitt Regional Medical Center upon hire.
  • Strong knowledge of medicine, anatomy, and vascular ultrasound procedures.
  • Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment operation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation:$64,000 - $76,000 per year

The estimated salary range is based on national averages for this role and location.
