No prior experience is necessary, as you will receive comprehensive training to effectively oversee a range of projects under the mentorship of experienced project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:


Your role will involve assisting in the management of construction materials testing projects, which includes:

  • Reviewing daily reports and collaborating with senior personnel.
  • Resolving issues as they arise and providing guidance to field staff on your projects.
  • Managing project budgets, preparing invoices, handling change orders, and supporting collection efforts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project proposals.


Additional responsibilities may include performing laboratory tests, soil classification, and testing various materials such as soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt pavement as required.

Candidate Profile:
Required Qualifications:


No prior experience is necessary.

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following fields: Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology. Note: Degrees in Construction Management and certain Technology disciplines may not be accepted.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
  • A willingness to pursue advanced licensure for career growth (EIT, PE, etc.).
  • An interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
  • Strong communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • A solid understanding of heavy construction safety practices and procedures.
  • Functional knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM laboratory standards.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
