Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled RN Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
- Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Strongly preferred experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
