Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Manager to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of visual design standards and creating engaging graphics for our learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and design visually appealing graphics and layouts for learning solutions, including PowerPoint presentations, videos, and websites.
  • Collaborate with the learner experience team and learning development team members to understand learning projects and tools, and conceptualize graphic solutions to support an effective learning experience.
  • Draw on established and novel visual design practices from related fields to set visual design standards and build new visual experiences.
  • Support and consult with the team to identify the best medium for delivery, given graphic design possibilities and constraints.
  • Design visually appealing videos, illustrations, layouts, and other visual aspects in accordance with Deloitte brand requirements.
  • Provide input for branding and communications to improve design and impact of communications, presentations, websites, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
  • Create templates and produce designs in alignment with DTTL branding and communication standards for use across the GAAL team.
  • Review materials to ensure graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Provide input on the strategic vision for Learning Design and Innovation and plans work aligned to this vision.
  • Coordinate to understand and translate needs across teams in GAAL, bringing best practices, standardization, and upskilling for presentation development, graphic design, digital asset development, animation creation, etc. to team members.
  • Own their own professional development and contribute to the development of their other team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, overseeing team development and recognizing and rewarding fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Linguistics, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or Design Management.
  • Experience in conceptualizing visuals and graphics based on learning requirements.
  • Design creative, engaging visuals using design software across a mix of modalities.
  • Presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across all levels and partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications.
