In this esteemed role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic law firm seeking an experienced Biotech Patent Agent from a top U.S. law firm.

This position offers a chance to collaborate with multiple partners across various offices and work on patent matters other than just Prep & Pros. The firm provides a high level of mentorship and training within a collegial environment. Multiple locations are available.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO
  • Conduct prior art and freedom-to-operate searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analysis
  • Draft high-quality U.S. patent applications
  • Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidates will have a Biology-related PhD
  • Must be eligible for USPTO admissions
  • Superior academic credentials required
  • Outstanding writing ability is required
  • 2+ years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of biology applications which may include molecular and cellular biology, Genetics, and/or Immunology.
A Competitive Compensation Package Awaits You

The anticipated base salary range is $150,000-200,000 per year. This figure takes into account qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
