We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiation therapy treatments by following and verifying referring providers' orders, utilizing independent judgment and applying learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families regarding the procedures and/or treatments to be performed, demonstrating professional behavior and conduct in all interactions.
- Operate treatment and treatment planning equipment, including simulation, in accordance with departmental policies, preparing treatments and administering prescribed doses in line with established policies.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care.
- Licensure: Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska state license prior to starting.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
