About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Emerson Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, sub-assembly, and testing of products to quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and sub-assembly of products based on standard work instructions and mechanical blueprints.
  • Test products using measuring tools such as calipers and a testing cage for electronic components.
  • Rework products that do not pass testing standards, including disassembly and reassembly followed by additional testing.
  • Track progress and completion of work orders and associated scrap in the ERP system.
  • Use an overhead assist/lift to move larger parts and/or products to or from work bench.
  • Pack finished product into boxes on pallets.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in any field.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
