About Our UnitOur CICU is a fast-paced critical care environment that emphasizes teamwork, excellent patient care, and professional growth. Our high-performing nursing team works closely with extensively trained medical colleagues, including Cardiac Intensivists, Medical Intensivists, Interventionalists, and Cardiologists.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Collaborate with medical colleagues to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (ICU experience preferred)
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing (ADN with completion of BSN within 5 years of start date)
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
- RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
