Position Overview

St. Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist for a travel contract. This role is essential in supporting surgical teams and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist
  • BLS Certification
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Required
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
  • Active Washington State License required.
  • Current BLS Certification.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday with additional on-call requirements.
  • Minimum call obligations include one weeknight per week and one weekend per month.
Unit Information
  • Operating Room Suites: 3
  • Average Cases per Day: 2-10
  • Common Procedures: General surgeries, cesarean sections, total joint replacements, OBGYN surgeries.
Additional Details

Medical Solutions will automatically deduct the 1.75% Washington state tax, which can be re-added back in. The position includes a structured orientation specific to the unit/department.
