Position Summary
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking qualified Primary Care Physicians to deliver comprehensive medical services to eligible veterans. The role involves providing care primarily at designated healthcare facilities, with occasional responsibilities at outpatient centers. Standard working hours are typically Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties or holiday shifts required. Opportunities for both full-time and temporary positions are available, accompanied by competitive compensation packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care services in accordance with established practice guidelines.
- Support a continuum of care that encompasses prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a range of medical conditions.
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including women's health, to a defined patient panel.
- Collaborate with clinic personnel to manage patient scheduling effectively.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, and develop treatment plans for both acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the formulary and utilize electronic systems for efficient practice management.
- Refer patients to specialty services as necessary and provide education and counseling.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions using the designated electronic health record system.
- Consult with referring physicians to optimize patient care and treatment pathways.
- Initiate referrals for social services as needed, particularly for vulnerable populations.
- Adhere to all medication management policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Current DEA registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to successfully complete a federal background check.
- No sponsorship is available for this position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform various physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.
- Capability to lift and carry specified weights as part of job duties.
