About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Verge Mobile, a T-Mobile Premium Partner. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist in the overall store operations, ensuring a positive and productive environment, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Effectively manage customer traffic, balancing wait times and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current on all products, services, and promotions, and assist the Store Manager in educating the sales team on relevant information.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Ensure the location is fully staffed at all times and assist the Store Manager in recruiting new talent to the team.
  • Store Appearance: Ensure the store always looks its best and is compliant with T-Mobile merchandising requirements.
  • Compliance: Support store operations and ensure compliance with guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile, including merchandising, inventory/shrinkage, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED and 2 years of previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service industry (previous wireless retail sales experience preferred).
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred. Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Sales and sales management experience. Operational and financial management experience. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Capable of building trusting relationships. Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative. Team player that can work well with staff and store leader, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
  • Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand long periods of time. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
