Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at HealthPartners as a Specialty Pharmacy Expert. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly growing area of pharmacy that is uniquely integrated into our broader healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Management: Ensure appropriate and optimized therapy, navigate drug interactions, monitor labs, and conduct patient education.
  • Prior Authorizations: Assist in the completion and follow-up of medication prior authorizations.
  • Physician Partnership: Answer incoming questions from clinicians regarding drug therapy.
  • Prescription Fulfillment: Comply with all State and Federal requirements for medication fulfillment.
Unique Aspects of the Position
  • The hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm.
  • The pharmacy is closed for major holidays.
  • Patient interaction is completed by telephone.
  • Most daily work is completed at an employee's personal desk.
  • An hour is allotted for lunch.
  • All medications dispensed are for at-home use.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have a current Minnesota Pharmacist license.
  • Preferred: Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification
