We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Ambassador to join our team at Christian Living Communities.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents and their families. As a Front Desk Ambassador, you will serve as the first point of contact for service-related issues, providing exceptional hospitality and support.
Your primary responsibility will be to greet and sign in all visitors, provide directions or information to residents, visitors, and guests, and respond to Emergency Call System and building alarm system.
You will also be responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail, managing office equipment and supplies, and performing periodic interior rounds to ensure the building is secure.
In addition, you will receive and process work orders for the Community, manage office equipment and supplies, and handle resident emergency situations in the absence of the Resident Services Director.
Key Responsibilities- Screens incoming calls; takes messages and forwards calls as appropriate
- Greets and signs in all visitors
- Greets and provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests, and vendors
- Responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Provides clerical assistance as needed
- Receives event reservations, schedules guest apartment reservations, and updates census, resident directory, and birthday list
- Provides basic information to those inquiring about the community
- Responds to Emergency Call System and building alarm system
- Responsible for administration of Stat Check System
- Performs periodic interior rounds to ensure the building is secure
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. You should possess excellent communication skills, be energetic and enthusiastic, and have prior concierge or hospitality experience (preferable).
You must be able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently and possess strong organizational skills, follow-up, and follow-through abilities. Good multitasking skills are also essential.
As a Front Desk Ambassador, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with residents, family members, and visitors frequently. You will be required to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently during working hours, and occasionally lift objects up to 20 pounds.
