Job Summary:
Vaco is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with stakeholders to determine data requirements and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to improve organizational outcomes.
Use ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data, and analyze data for trends and patterns to prepare reports for management.
Collaborate with teams to identify process improvements and data governance strategies, and troubleshoot and resolve data issues promptly.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics, and 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in HVAC or similar industries.
Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data accuracy, and experience with Power BI, SSRS, and ETL tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and experience with BuildOps, SageIntacct, ADP, and data sourcing from databases and APIs is a plus.
