About the Role

The Identity Team is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development of new software products and features with a keen eye for detail.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of the engineering team, including Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and SREs, as well as members from UX and Product Management to build best-in-class products in the market.

In support of our culture, we have adopted a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality, reliable test automation solutions that meet the team's goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex implementations and orchestrations.
  • Provide support to internal customers in the adoption, use, and troubleshooting of our services.
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate frameworks, services, and applications that support our initiatives.
  • Participate in standups, architecture reviews, and planning meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of consistent value to our customers.
  • Document internal and external information for use by the team and customers.
  • Manage ambiguity and raise issues and impediments when blocked.
  • Share learnings with the broader group.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot. You should have advanced experience working with microservices architecture, recent experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms such as GCP, and experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery.

You should also have experience with Git and its workflows, experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, and proficiency with CQRS pattern.

A strong written and verbal communication skill is essential, as well as the ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting priorities.
