Job Summary

The City of Mason Police Department is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed.
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support prosecutions.
  • Make arrests and transport individuals to detention facilities.
  • Provide support and assistance to the public, including emergency medical services and crisis intervention.
  • Participate in community policing initiatives to build trust and partnerships with the community.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and have a good driving record.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and meet the physical requirements of the job.
