Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and provide essential medical care while adhering to established nursing standards and organizational policies.
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments in compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that healthcare services are aligned with licensure standards and organizational protocols.
- Participate in care coordination activities and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of client treatment information in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and family members regarding health care needs.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records for documenting all healthcare interactions and encounters.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality and rights.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives to address risk management and quality assurance concerns.
- Provide after-hours on-call support to program staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification, or an Associate Degree.
- Delaware Registered Nursing License in good standing or a Compact License.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients facing substance abuse and mental health challenges.
- Strong writing and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR applications is advantageous.
