Your primary goal will be to ensure that all items are fresh, properly rotated, well-stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience for our customers while delivering exceptional service.

Compensation for this role begins at $20.60 per hour.



Essential Qualifications:
• Minimum age of 16 years.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Flexibility to work according to the store's operational needs.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are essential functions of the role and may be adjusted as necessary by the company.


• Provide courteous and friendly service to customers during each transaction, striving to meet their requests for assistance.

• Uphold the principles of teamwork and collaboration while fostering a positive floral department environment.


• Maintain high associate morale by embodying a Respectful, Supportive, and Team-Oriented (RSTO) work style.


• Develop knowledge of floral products and offer advice on plant care and floral arrangements, while being resourceful in finding information when needed.

• Process customer special orders both in-person and via phone.

• Create and assemble floral arrangements for various occasions and provide gift wrapping services for bouquets. Keep track of all flowers used on the inventory sheet.

• Prepare seasonal arrangement/plant upgrade bows.


• Actively participate in minimizing shrink by accurately recording any products that are discarded, lost, or damaged, and reducing waste of products and supplies.

• Order a diverse range of products; receive, process (with age restrictions), display, rotate, and store deliveries to ensure quality control.


• Maintain proper rotation of floral merchandise in accordance with company policies and product code dates, ensuring the oldest products are utilized first (first in, first out).

• Verify that all products are correctly priced and scan accurately at the register.

• Keep the back room, supply area, coolers, and display cases organized and clean.


• Conduct proper maintenance for both indoor and outdoor plants (e.g., watering and trimming foliage and blooms on potted plants).

• Perform scheduled water changes for cut flowers.

• Present a professional appearance in terms of dress, personal hygiene, and business demeanor.

• Adhere to sanitation procedures and the "Cleaner's Creed."

• Practice safety protocols when lifting or moving products and operating department equipment (age restrictions apply).

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free sales and work area; report any safety concerns to management.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily inventory management.

• Inflate balloons and display signage.

• Decorate the floral department to reflect the current season.

• Monitor cooler and display case temperatures to ensure product quality.

• Report any incidents of theft, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or property damage to management.

• Complete onboarding training and checklist within 30 days of hire/department entry.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
