Travel Nurse PCU Job Opportunity

eTeam Inc is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Job Details
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a PCU setting and be comfortable with float assignments. The unit does not accept first-time travelers, and locals are also accepted. The rate difference is yes, and the traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool), which covers three separate campuses.

Unit Details
  • Float Pool Unit: Yes, the traveler will work with the CNRO and float to various units, including medical/surgical floors, PCUs, cardiac floors, rehab, BHH, PACU, and inpatient holding space for ED.
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Special Procedures: Candidates will not float to the ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary.

The contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

  • Must Pass EKG Testing: Prior to start for this specialty
