IT Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Franklin Fitch. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT Support team, including recruitment, supervision, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the IT Service Desk system for tracking incidents, assets, and knowledge base
  • Maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of IT Service Desk
  • Providing support in all areas of provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT client systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of the networking infrastructure
  • Serving as a technical lead on company projects
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standard IT practices and providing support for both internal and external compliance audits

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in IT client/end-user support and IT Infrastructure
  • 2+ years of management experience is preferred, although not essential
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (2019/2022), Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft 365
  • Experience with VMWare
  • Networking experience
