Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nail Technician to join our team at Sonesta International Hotels. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nail treatments and customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Quality Nail Treatments: Perform a variety of quality nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Recommend Treatments: Recommend nail treatments and products to guests based on their individual needs and preferences.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Consistently provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate Effectively: Effectively communicate with Spa Director and Spa Supervisor to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a Safe and Sanitary Environment: Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times, adhering to Sonesta's high standards.
  • Sell and Recommend Retail: Sell and recommend retail products to guests, promoting Sonesta's brand and services.
  • Promote Self and Visibility: Act as an ambassador for Sonesta, promoting self and visibility of the spa by interacting with guests and promoting the brand.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring the smooth operation of the spa.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Advanced Vocational Training: Possess advanced vocational training in nail technology, plus one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Licensing Requirements: Maintain all licensing requirements of the state of South Carolina, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to speak fluent English.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform the following physical demands: carrying or lifting up to 25 pounds, flexible availability, continuous standing or sitting, communication skills, reading comprehension, and basic math skills.
