Responsibilities and Requirements- Provides quality care to patients with acute, subacute, and chronic illnesses, administering medications and treatments according to established standards of care.
- Monitors patients' conditions and reports significant changes to physicians as indicated.
- Maintains accurate inventory of medications and ensures accurate distribution to patients.
- Provides guidance and direction to auxiliary staff and participates in report meetings.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education. No experience required.
Physical RequirementsConstant standing and walking. Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
Required Professional Licenses and CertificationsBasic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA). Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Or Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration. Or Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN). Or Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
