We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at St. David's Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas. As a member of our pediatric hospital medicine group, you will provide exceptional care to our young patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 in-house coverage for our 10-bed Pediatric Med/Surg unit and 6-bed PICU
- Collaborate with a collegial team of 5 pediatric hospitalists to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in a co-management model with multiple subspecialists, including surgery, urology, neurology, infectious diseases, pulmonology, and gastroenterology
- Faculty appointment with Texas A&M, working with 3rd and 4th-year medical students, no residents
- BC/BE Pediatrician
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with medically complex and high-acuity patients
- Interest in educating medical students and being part of a team-oriented environment
