Direct Support Staff/Registered Behavior Tech
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide in-home support to our clients. As a Direct Support Staff/Registered Behavior Tech, you will assist with daily activities, foster personal growth, and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with grooming, hygiene, and hair care.
- Domestic Assistance: Teach and assist with cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Health and Safety Care: Remind and assist with medications and physical exercises.
- Documentation: Accurately record daily progress according to the service plan and IEP.
- Community Assistance: Facilitate community engagement and social activities.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the agency regarding any client or family concerns.
- Support: Encourage and support the client's growth and development at home and in the community.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- A valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- CPR & First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Current TB test.
- Excellent communication skills.
