Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer both emergency and non-emergency medical assistance
  • Quickly respond to emergency situations
  • Provide medical services and facilitate patient transport to healthcare facilities
  • Implement lifesaving procedures in critical moments
  • Ensure safe transfer and transport of patients as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Competence at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Licensure as EMT-Basic in Mississippi
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with an F endorsement and a clean driving record
  • Current CPR certification
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull over 100 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from the National Registry
