Program Overview

Mercy Northwest Arkansas offers a comprehensive 1-year nurse residency program designed to support the transition of new graduate nurses into professional practice. The program is centered on guiding and shaping participants to become confident and competent nurses.

Program Components
  • Department-based orientation to familiarize participants with the hospital's policies, procedures, and culture
  • Classroom and simulation lab training to develop clinical skills and knowledge
  • Preceptored clinical experience to apply learned skills in real-world settings
