Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Patient Care Associate to join our Cardiac Medical team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of wellness for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN
  • Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient
  • Work cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum
  • No prior experience required; Mercy provides a 175-hour training program for new hires
  • BLS certification required within one month of hire; completion of PCA competencies within 3 months of hire
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
