Job Summary:

Belmare Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dining Room Server to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room by providing excellent service to residents and their guests.
  • Take beverage and food orders, deliver food and beverage orders, clear, clean, and sanitize tables.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, and take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in food service or other customer service-related fields preferred.
  • Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by state regulation).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, personnel skills, and community relations skills are essential.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including Health screening and TB clearance.
  • Must pass a drug screen, state-required fingerprinting, and criminal background process.
  • First Aid certification.
