Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truss Assembler to join our team at Autonomy Staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling wooden or metal trusses used in construction projects, ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and diagrams to assemble trusses accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and join wood or metal materials, adhering to company standards and building codes.
  • Position and secure lumber or metal pieces in jigs to form assemblies, ensuring precise measurements and quality control.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble components to meet specified dimensions and quality standards, collaborating with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Inspect completed trusses for accuracy and compliance with company standards and building codes, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and protocols, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prior experience in truss assembly, carpentry, or related field preferred but not required. Willing to train motivated candidates.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
