We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Equipment Technician to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our Renal Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our hemodialysis equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventive maintenance, installation, calibration, electrical safety testing, and repair of hemodialysis equipment.
- Complete written documentation of all testing and repair results, and operate a computerized equipment management program to store these results.
- Assist the Renal Department with education and training of dialysis personnel in water treatment systems.
- Perform monthly water cultures/LAL and report to the Director any necessary action plans in a timely manner.
- Maintain data for the department's QA and CQI as related to water quality and safety.
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with additional Biomedical Equipment/Electronics Technical Training.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience is required.
- Technical Training Class for Fresenius Hemodialysis System is required.
